To knit one Rose Arbor Hat, as shown, you’ll need seven 25g balls of Jamieson’s of Shetland DK 100% Shetland wool yarn = 2 balls of the main color (the blue in the brim) plus one ball each for the five accent colors. Since you use relatively small amounts of the accent colors, if we add in a 3rd ball of the main color, you’ll have enough of everything to knit two identical hats. The difference in price for the two-hat kit is merely the price of one more ball of yarn.
